Alhaji Mohamed Omodu Kamara, widely known as Jagaban, has once again reaffirmed his steadfast commitment to grassroots football and community development through his continued sponsorship of the Central One Football Association (COFA) 2025/2026 Tournament.
This year’s competition is staged under the inspiring theme: “Say No to Drugs, Say No to Violence.” It has drawn an overwhelming response, with more than 32 communities across both Western Urban and Western Rural areas of Freetown participating.
The opening round, which concluded on 16 September 2025, was marked not only by exciting football displays but also by Jagaban’s far-reaching pledges to strengthen the tournament’s impact. In a remarkable show of support, he announced that he would refund the NLe 3,500,000 registration fee to each of the 32 participating communities. He also committed to introducing special awards for Best Player, Best Behaved Team, and Man of the Match — further motivating players and promoting discipline both on and off the pitch.

As the tournament progresses, anticipation continues to build. Communities, players, and fans alike are united in celebrating football not only as a game but as a vehicle for transformation, guided by Jagaban’s vision for a stronger, drug-free, and violence-free society.
