Jagaban’s Elder Brother Attends Jumah Prayer at Masjid Jabalili Nurr: A Commitment to Faith, Charity, and National Unity Leicester Road, Freetown – 19th September 2025 Mr. Abdul Kamara, elder brother of Sheikh Alhaji Mohamed “Omodu” Kamara, popularly known as Jagaban, joined worshippers for the Jumah prayer at Masjid Jabalili Nurr in the Leicester Road community on Friday, 19th September 2025. During the service, the Imam delivered a powerful sermon on the significance of regularly reciting “Astaghfirullah” as a pathway to Allah’s forgiveness and a reminder of humility. He warmly welcomed the Jagaban delegation, describing their presence as a mark of respect and solidarity with the Muslim community. Speaking on behalf of the Jagaban Movement, National Secretary-General Mr. Mohamed Abdul Mansaray outlined Jagaban’s vision for national development and encouraged the congregation to remain hopeful and engaged. In his remarks, Mr. Abdul Kamara conveyed greetings from Jagaban, thanked the Imam and Jamaat for their hospitality, and reaffirmed the movement’s commitment to connecting with communities at the grassroots level across Sierra Leone. As a demonstration of charity, he pledged NLe 5,000 to support the mosque and further committed to donating food items every two weeks to assist the congregation. He also noted that Jagaban, who is currently engaged in travels between the United States and China, looks forward to visiting the mosque personally in the near future. On behalf of the mosque, Chairman Mr. Abu Mansaray expressed heartfelt appreciation for the generous support and offered prayers for the success of the Kamara family and Jagaban’s leadership aspirations. He emphasized that such commitments could play a vital role in addressing some of the nation’s pressing challenges.
