Dear Pope Leo XIV,
My name is Myam Emmanuel, also known as Emmiwuks, a proud Nigerian, a Pan-African son, and a voice for a generation that refuses to give up.
Today marks Day 121 of my cycling journey from Nigeria to the United States of America. I’ll be crossing over 20 African countries with one mission, to ride for the orphans, the IDPs, and the vulnerable across Africa.
This journey isn’t about luxury or fame, it’s about impact, faith, and fire.
For those without shoes, I ride barefoot sometimes. For those without a voice, I speak louder at every border. And for those without a home, I sleep wherever the road allows.
Deep inside this mission burns a dream, to meet Pope Leo XIV, a man whose humility, compassion, and courage prove that true leadership is rooted in love, service, and faith in action.
From the Vatican to the villages of the world, Your Holiness has proved that the Church is not only in the buildings but in the streets, with the people, in their pain, and in their hope.
Your words and example have carried many of us through our darkest days. You proved that greatness is not measured by power, but by the ability to lift others, to forgive, and to keep walking in love even when the road is rough.
When I finally meet you, it won’t just be about Faith, it’ll be about how purpose and compassion can heal broken places, restore lost hope, and inspire the next generation of believers and dreamers.
So yes, I ride for the forgotten. I ride for Africa.
But I also ride toward a divine encounter, to meet Pope Leo XIV, the Shepherd who proves to the world that love is the greatest journey of all.
Prayer:π
Heavenly Father, bless our Holy Father, Pope Leo XIV. Grant him wisdom, strength, and divine protection as he leads Your Church in truth and love. May his voice continue to inspire peace, hope, and unity across the world. Guide us all, Lord, that through faith and good works, we may bring light where there is darkness, and love where there is pain. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
Long live Pope Leo XIV ✝️
Together we ride. Together we rise.
