Prominent philanthropist and political figure, Sheikh Alhaji Mohammed Omodu Kamara, widely known as Jagaban, visited Masjid Al-AMIN in Morgebeh Community, During his visit, he donated NL 100 million to support the ongoing construction of the mosque, a gesture that was met with heartfelt gratitude from local residents and religious leaders. The sermon, delivered by Chief Imam Alhaji Mohammed Sesay expressed thanks to Allah and recognized Jagaban's consistent contributions to faith, community, and national development.
Jagaban was formally introduced to the congregation by Mr. Abass Sesay, National Chairman of the Jagaban Movement, who emphasized his dedication to public service and religious causes.
In his remarks, Jagaban expressed appreciation to Allah and encouraged the community to contribute, no matter how small, to the building of the mosque. He stressed the importance of collective responsibility and promised that Allah would reward all sincere efforts made toward the mosque’s completion.
Jagaban further, called on the people to support God-fearing leaders committed to national progress. He urged APC members and community leaders to rally behind leadership that serves with sincerity, declaring his readiness to transform Sierra Leone for the better. His substantial donation drew emotional responses, with worshippers referring to him as “Our Savior” and “The New Hope.” His departure was marked by jubilant chants, with many expressing hopes of seeing him lead the APC to victory in the 2028 elections
