Alhaji Mohamed " Omodu" Kamara, popularly known as Jagaban, has honoured his pledge to provide football jerseys for the 32 communities participating in the COFA Tournament.
Jagaban warmly welcomed representatives from the various communities and announced that a special dinner will be held for all participating teams.
He stated, “This is not the time to settle for less,” and called on all peace-loving Sierra Leoneans to support national development.
He further reassured everyone of his presence at the tournament finals.
Speaking on behalf of the 32 participating communities, Mr. Manzu Algalie, an executive member of the COFA Tournament, expressed gratitude to Jagaban for fulfilling his promises, particularly the provision of jerseys. He also highlighted some of the challenges faced by match officials, which Jagaban assured would be addressed during the dinner and awards night.
Manager Bah, Chairman of Summer City, commended Jagaban’s commitment to national development and kindly requested the provision of a solar lighting system for all the communities.
